What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a talented Senior Helpdesk Administrator to support and manage EHE’s IT infrastructure and business applications. This role will troubleshoot complex IT issues, manage support requests, and execute operation-specific jobs.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in helpdesk and corporate technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mac/JAMF system support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented mindset. The Senior Helpdesk Administrator will be collaborative, comfortable working in a small team and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
In this role, you will:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Mac and Windows systems, including hardware, software and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize business disruption
- Manage service desk tickets, track and document all support requests, and follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
- Provide end-user training on common IT tasks, system usage, and security best practices
- Assist in enforcing security policies and protocols, including patch management, malware protection, and access control
- Manage OKTA for identity and access management, including user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across all systems
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and assist in audits related to IT operations
- Lead IT initiatives and serve as a technical resource for cross-functional projects
What the role requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Helpdesk Administrator
- Must be JAMF Certified
- Industry certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified IT Professional (ACiT), CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Experience in IT operations in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry, with familiarity in handling sensitive data (e.g., PHI) in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing and maintaining enterprise grade network infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned work and follow through to completion
- Extensive experience in maintaining and administering Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Hands on knowledge of virtualization and cloud solutions including Hyper-V, VMware, Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Familiar with security/privacy regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Top 20 Security Controls
- Positive attitude, ability to work independently, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable following documented policies and procedures
- Ability to work after hours and travel as needed

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills
