What we’re looking for:
EHE is seeking a talented and driven Referral Coordinator to manage the coordination of patient recommended screenings/referral appointments while building value in EHE’s brand. TheReferral Coordinator will be the liaison between the patients and Health Navigation Center as they assist with the scheduling of post-exam care appointments following our comprehensive health exam, while providing the utmost level of customer service.
As an integral part of the Health Navigation Center, theReferral Coordinator will be tasked with creating unique patient experiences and conversations, identifying gap areas (as it relates to our contracted network and/or member experience), and triaging member and/or facilities related scheduling efforts.
The Referral Coordinatorwill work closely with the Manager for Ancillary Referrals & Senior Manager of Health Navigation to achieve personal and departmental dialing efficiencies and drive EHE’s overall metrics on appointments scheduled & completed.
In this role, you will:
Place and receive phone calls and emails to/from EHE’s members with recommended screenings
Effectively resolve patient inquiries in a considerate, accurate and timely manner
Compose thoughtful, personalized responses for a variety of patient requests
Book appointments for our patients to receive all recommended screenings
Provide superior customer service to all EHE patients
Use a problem-solving approach to achieve shared decision making with potential EHE patients
Use critical thinking skills to answer and solve patient inquiries and problems, always looking to achieve the best & earliest resolution for our members
Know and understand all departmental KPIs and self-manage to reach those goals
Triage incoming requests and spot patient trends to flag for management
Identify, reproduce and document technology related bugs that patients may experience on the portal
What the role requires:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Health Communications, Health Promotion or a related field
Demonstrated sales and/or referrals management experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in a call center setting preferred
Highly motivated individual with high energy
Unparalleled problem solving and critical thinking skills
A strong, confident self-starter
Passionate about customer service and patient satisfaction
Understanding administration of Microsoft Suite & CRM applications (Salesforce)
Ruthlessly organized and would score high on conscientiousness
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and uncertainty
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent written and verbal communication

The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
